蘋果於今（12日）推出iOS 18.2、iPadOS 18.2和macOS Sequoia 15.2等更新。然而，在macOS Sequoia 15.2更新中，蘋果意外出包，透露M4 MacBook Air即將推出的消息。
外媒MacRumors發現，蘋果在macOS Sequoia 15.2更新文件中，提及了兩款尚未發布的Mac，分別為「Mac16,12」與「Mac16,13」，這些型號屬於下一代的MacBook Air。
根據洩露的資料，這兩款新機被標示為「MacBook Air（13 吋，M4，2025）」與「MacBook Air（15 吋，M4，2025）」。這等於進一步確認蘋果正在開發採用M4系列晶片的新一代MacBook Air，並暗示亮相時間不遠了。
蘋果自今年底開始對Mac產品線進行大更新，包括MacBook Pro、iMac和Mac mini率先轉換至M4系列晶片。目前傳聞，蘋果可能在明年3月的春季發表會推出M4 MacBook Air，但也不排除蘋果直接採新聞稿突襲方式發布。
